The Fraternal Mutual Aid Union of Santo Stefano Magra has called an extraordinary meeting for Sunday 17 November, at 10 am, in the Arci premises, in Piazza Garibaldi; Santo Stefano community called to participate in large numbers and actively to contribute to the future of the historic institution. “The assembly aims to adapt the statutory form of the Union to the new legal framework, a necessary step to ensure that the organization remains in line with current regulations – observes the new president of the association Veronica Scardigli -. The importance of this meeting is not limited to reaching the quorum required to proceed: for the Board of Directors, collective participation is essential so that every decision is taken in a shared manner, reflecting the will and sense of belonging of the Santo Stefano community”.
The president concludes: “In the latest events organized under the guidance of the new management, the community has demonstrated a strong bond with the Mutual Aid Fraternal Union, an institution that represents a significant part of local history. Now, however, it is time to take a decisive step: take on collective responsibility to outline the future role of the organization. The Board of Directors therefore invites all citizens to take part in this extraordinary assembly, hoping for an increasingly broad and heartfelt involvement. The assembly will be supported by the presence of Giorgio De Lucchi, accountant, expert in the third sector and non-profit sector. This is a precious opportunity to regain that sense of community that sometimes seems to be lacking, but which is vital for our shared future.”
