Thanks toincrease in the financial endowment of almost 19 million euros approved on September 23 by Regional councilwith a decree of 11 November Lombardy Region took care of the scrolling of the ranking of the expression of interest for the selection of the new ones Strategies for the development of the Prealpine Valleys. This was announced by the councilor for local authorities, mountains, energy resources and use of water resources of the Lombardy region, Massimo Sertori.

This guarantees the complete scrolling of the ranking and the financing of the further 8 admitted strategies.
Prealpine Valleys, funds for all Lombardy Strategies
“By concretely continuing our action in favor of the Prealpine Valleys – recalls councilor Sertori – we have in fact worked to find, and succeeded, the resources to finance all the project proposals put forward by the territories. We are therefore now in a position to guarantee full economic support for all the Strategies presented in the expression of interests. Including the 8 previously admitted, but not funded, proposals.”
The 8 Beneficiary Strategies
Here are the 8 funded strategies:
- ‘Val di Scalve 2025’ (leader the Val di Scalve/BG mountain community) – regional contribution granted 3,145,631.55 euros;
- ‘From the lake to the mountains: nature, history and sport’ (leader the Mountain community of the Lario and Ceresio valleys/CO) – regional contribution granted 3,137,375.84 euros;
- ‘Family plateau’ (leader Municipality of Rovetta/BG) – regional contribution granted 2,663,180.95 euros;
- ‘Sustainable communities: support for environmental development and local services in Valle Sabbia and upper Garda’ (leader Valle Sabbia/BS mountain community) – regional contribution granted 1,121,583 euros;
- ‘Local development strategy ‘The lakes by bicycle” (leader Piambello/VA mountain community) – regional contribution granted 1,464,656 euros;
- ‘Integrated project aimed at the redevelopment and expansion of infrastructure dedicated to sustainable mobility in order to further incentivize the development of the area’ (leader Municipality of Endine Gaiano/BG) – regional contribution granted 3,136,291.99 euros;
- ‘Ancient way of the people – integration and strengthening of hiking routes, tourist itineraries, equipped areas, signposted routes and their networking’ (leader Union of Municipalities of Lombardy Pre-Alps/VA) – regional contribution granted 1,136,003 euros;
- ‘Valle Trompia green mobility: sustainable itineraries for mobility and tourism’ (leader Mountain community Vvalle Trompia/BS) – regional contribution granted of 3,115,000 euros.
