The action-adventure game Stellar Blade may come to PC next year. That’s the tentative plan for developer Shift Up.
The goal of bringing the so far PlayStation 5-exclusive game to PC was shared when the studio presented its latest quarterly report. Shift Up also talked about his big expectations for the launch of the new platform.
– Considering recent trends, such as Steam‘s growing market share in the high-budget games segment and the global success of Black Myth: Wukong, we expect the game to do better on PC than on a token.
The PlayStation 5 version is said to have sold around one million copies in its first two months.
Stellar Blade was well received when the game was released earlier this year. We had our own Espen Jansen very pleased with both the battle system and level design.
– Stellar Blade offers easy-to-play, fun and sometimes very casual action, and it’s hard not to think back to the huggable hack and slash games from the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 era. Like games like Devil May Cry, Bayonetta and the first God of War game, Stellar Blade has a heavy focus on combo attacks, flashy animations and bold characters.
In other Stellar Blade news, the game is coming soon additional content based on Nier: Automata. The small expansion and new photo mode will be introduced on November 20th.
