Yakushev: the Ministry of Education received a list of educational facilities for major repairs from United Russia
United Russia submitted to the Ministry of Education a list of educational facilities for major repairs in 2025-2027. According to the website ER.ru, there are more than 4 thousand schools, kindergartens and technical schools.
The party will take special control over the support of the work, emphasized the acting secretary of the General Council of United Russia. Vladimir Yakushev at the All-Russian meeting on the program for the overhaul of educational facilities. It was held at the VKS in Volgograd with the participation of the minister Sergey Kravtsov.
Vladimir Yakushev recalled that in the Address the President announced the expansion of the program to kindergartens and secondary vocational education institutions.
United Russia summarized the needs in the regions and presented them to the Ministry of Education.
“The general federal list includes 3,210 schools, 276 institutions of secondary vocational education and 837 kindergartens. It is also planned to build 68 new schools and 63 kindergartens. Until December 12, we will assign responsible deputies and senators from the party to each object,” said Vladimir Yakushev.
He noted that during the implementation of the overhaul program – starting in 2022 – almost 4.5 thousand school buildings have been updated. 406 – this year. By the end of this year, more than 280 more school buildings are planned to be commissioned.
“All repairs planned for the year have been completed in the Moscow and Ryazan regions, the republics of Adygea, Ingushetia, Kalmykia, Tatarstan and the Chechen Republic,” noted Vladimir Yakushev.
Under the program for the construction of new schools, 1,411 schools with 850 thousand school places were put into operation. In 2024, 70 schools have already been built, and the commissioning of another 162 schools is planned by the end of the year.
“Also, since 2019, as of November 1, 2024, 1,682 kindergartens with 246 thousand places have been put into operation,” concluded the acting secretary of the General Council of United Russia.
Sergei Kravtsov drew the attention of the regions to the threat of failure to comply with obligations under the national project “Education”.
“These are the obligations that you have undertaken, they must be fulfilled. The citizens of our country are waiting for these schools,” the minister emphasized.
Let us remind you that United Russia is implementing the school overhaul program together with the Ministry of Education. It is part of the party’s people’s program and was initiated by the President at the United Russia Congress in 2021. All stages of work – from design to acceptance – are controlled by public headquarters that United Russia and the Ministry of Education have formed in the regions. Starting this year, new regions are also taking part in the program.
Also, with the support of the party, the President’s order to build 1,300 new schools from the beginning of the implementation of the national project “Education” was completed ahead of schedule. In addition, the party provides funding from the federal budget for the implementation of the overhaul program.
In North Ossetia, the school overhaul program has been implemented for the third year, noted the regional coordinator of the United Russia party project “New School”, Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic Mark Dzhanaev.
“During this time, we managed to put more than 60 educational institutions in order. Not only have they undergone major renovations, each is equipped with new modern equipment,” he said. — In terms of the pace of program implementation and the level of funding, North Ossetia is among the top ten regions of Russia. The total amount of funding for the program is about 8 billion rubles.
This year, major renovations began in 26 schools, in two dozen of them work will continue in 2025, six educational institutions will open their doors to students by the end of this year.
I can share one more good news – by the end of 2027, three new schools and two kindergartens will be built in the republic. This will significantly relieve the burden on existing educational institutions.”
