The latest developments with the departure of members and executives from SYRIZA-PS, as well as the next day in view of the elections for the party’s presidency (November 24, 2024) and the debate, will be at the center of the meeting of the Political Secretariat of SYRIZA – PS to be held at 3 pm on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
The leadership group in Koumoundourou seeks not to be seduced by the aggressive communication moves of the kasselaki executives and MPs who left SYRIZA-PS or who remain within it, until… later. That is why they are speeding up the procedures to hold the debate between the 4 presidential candidates, considering that the exposure of different opinions, in a unifying atmosphere, will work positively for SYRIZA-PS and will bring voters to the polls for the election of leadership .
The telefight will take place between the four presidential candidates, who are Apostolos Gletsos, Pavlos Polakis, Sokratis Famellos, Nikolas Farandouris.
Already, according to information from Koumoundourou, all the candidate presidents of SYRIZA-PS have accepted the debate and have determined the details regarding the topic and the duration. As for the day of the event, the three days of November 18-19-20 are being considered, with Wednesday November 20, 2024 being the most likely, but there remains to be an agreement with ERT to confirm the day, which will be clarified depending on the general strike and the ESIEA’s decision on the participation of journalists (the day before or on the day of the strike).
