IN CHICAGO, I.-In NBA basketball, the Cleveland Cavaliers set their record at 12 wins without losses, after beating their opponents the Chicago Bulls by 119 by 113 points yesterday, Monday, November 11.
Statistics indicate that with its victory Cleveland entered the list of the eight best starts in NBA history.
Ahead of the Cleveland Cavaliers, there are only five records: 24-0 for the Warriors (2015-2016), 15-0 for the Houston Rockets (1993-1994) and the Washington Capitols (1948-1949), and 14 -0 for the Dallas Mavericks (2002-2003) and the Boston Celtics (1957-1958).
Like Cleveland now, the Chicago Bulls (1996-1997) and the Seattle Supersonics (1982-1983) also went 12-0.
Of all those teams, two won the ring (Houston and Chicago), three reached the Finals (Golden State, Washington and Boston), one reached the conference final (Dallas) and one fell in the first round of the playoff ( Seattle)..In Chicago, Donovan Mitchell was the offensive reference with (36 points with 7 triples and 8 rebounds), followed by: Darius Garland (17 points), Evan Mobley (15 points and 11 rebounds) and Caris LeVert, Georges Niang and Ty Jerome with 12 points each off the bench.
For the Bulls (4-7), who were close to sealing Cleveland’s first defeat, Zach LaVine was the top scorer with 26 points and 6 rebounds within a starting quintet with all its members in double figures in scoring.
