This spring, football governing body Ifab held its annual meeting. There, among other things, it was decided that an additional change would be allowed in the future if there is a suspicion of a dispute.
However, the proposal to try temporary changes was not heard.
The Swedish Football Association (SvFF) will have a representative board meeting at the end of November. There is a proposal for the change as well on the table – so perhaps the rule will be introduced for the next season.
– It is not that it is directly dependent (that Ifab is decided). But, maybe that’s where it started this time, says Tommy Bodin, chairman of SvFF’s tournament development committee.

The International Football Association Board (Ifab) is the body that decides on the rules of the game for football.
The members are the international football association Fifa (which has four votes) and the four British football associations from England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland (which have one vote each).
Mats Börjesson is the chairman in the medical committee, which is positive about the proposal.
– But you have to remember that there are several things that have been developed and can be developed further, he says.
Among other things, Börjesson points out the importance of being able to see head injury situations quickly and easily in replays, the ability to have time for treatment on the pitch as well as communication and co – work with the referee.
Now another device can be an additional change.
– We don’t want there to be other reasons why you can’t make good medical decisions. For example, when it is not possible to make the decision because there are no changes left, says Mats Börjesson.
– Then there was probably a concern that this could be used and used in the wrong way. But medically it is good, and I don’t think it will be a big problem in Sweden.
The situation that some may remember from this year the time Hammarby backup Hampus Skoglund he gave Gais a bad beating – and then I couldn’t remember anything in the half-time interview.
Another memory gap that is likely to be etched in many football memories is that of Germany midfielder Christoph Kramer at the World Cup final in 2014. Brommapojkarna midfielder Gustav Sandberg Magnusson then on DN said about his decision to hang up his boots after five concussions in one year.
Another incident this year was when national team player Ludwig Augustinsson went into the back in a match with Anderlecht last autumn. The left back was not examined by the club’s medical team after the blow to the head, and they finished the match.
– It was a little surprising. You have to be more careful there. But I think the referee got some criticism for that, he said in relation to the national team meeting in October.
– He picked me up and didn’t ask… and that’s where I lost some memory. I was kind of like: “What’s going on?”
