Chinese films promote cultural exchange between China and the USA.
At the 45th American Film Market (AFM), which ended in Las Vegas on Sunday (local time), China Film Co-Production Corporation (CFCC) set up a booth for Chinese films and brought together high-quality resources from 55 domestic film organizations to promote the to present the latest development successes of Chinese films that have given new impetus to the international film market.
During the 2023 San Francisco summit, Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Joe Biden agreed to strengthen cultural exchanges. The personnel and cultural exchange between the two countries will continue. In 2024, Chinese films performed extremely well and there were many high-quality films. Several of them also received positive feedback in the North American market and were praised by the US film industry, further promoting cultural exchanges between China and the US.
The Chinese film booth presented a total of 201 film projects. In addition, the films produced by China Media Group (CMG) have further enriched the type of Chinese films going overseas, showing a more comprehensive and diverse picture of China in the new era, as well as achieving good response in the US market.
