Iltalehti reported in June that the TV channel Eveo will start showing adult entertainment on linear television.

Now porn has been added, and in the future Eveo will show adult entertainment for free no less than three nights a week: the night between Thursday and Friday, Friday and Saturday, and Saturday and Sunday.

Director of content for the Eveo channel Jupe Tuomola previously told Iltalehti that the program is shown late at night in cable TV households. The adult entertainment shown on Eveo cannot be watched in aerial households at all.

Tuomola previously stated that the channel is aware that erotic content is not necessarily the most appropriate or ethical content to present. However, he emphasized that the channel’s target group is people over 45, and viewers have been hoping for this kind of content from them.

According to Tuomola, the channel operates according to Finnish law and marks the content with K-18 symbols.

– This kind of content is available completely free of charge from anyone’s phone or any device, and on television, however, it is monitored and restricted, Tuomola said in June.

The channel previews the content before publication. The content must not be humiliating or offensive to any party in the video. According to Tuomola, the content comes from one and the same producer.

– It has such a softer line. Everyone can say that it’s not like what you see when you order from one of the services, which have just about anything.

In addition to adult entertainment, the Eveo channel shows numerous different events live. Among other things, the final of the Miss Finland competition and the Tango market were part of Eveo’s program offering this year.

The renewed Eveo started daily broadcasts at the beginning of this year on channel number 17. The website of the channel, which can be watched freely nationwide, states that it is completely privately and domestically owned.
