It’s a clear, quick and uncontested victory. Donald Trump was elected 47th president of the United Statesin a single night. Gradually the States were colored red to give him victory. It was certainly a moment in History that we experienced: the “greatest political comeback in history”according to some. Donald Trump will therefore have a second four-year term.
America has chosen, very clearly. There are obviously hundreds of things to say about this choice, this extraordinary campaign, this result… On January 20, 2025, in front of the capitol, Trump will officially take office. In the meantime, he is starting to appoint the main members of his cabinet and is already thinking about what he will do on January 21. “I will be a dictator, but only on the first day of my mandate”, he had said.
