For one half, HSG Schönbuch was able to keep up with the undefeated leaders SKV Unterensingen in the Handball Association League, Season II. In the end, however, she had to pay tribute to the high effort and ultimately clearly lost.
“We did really well at times,” said Holger Breitenbacher, HSG Schönbuch coach, largely satisfied with his team’s performance despite the clear 24:31 home defeat in the Handball Association League, Season II, against SKV Unterensingen. His protégés stood up to the undisputed league leaders, especially in the first half, but were hardly able to gain any control after the restart. “All in all, we made too many mistakes that such an opponent punished harshly,” said the coach, once again annoyed about too many unnecessary ball losses. “Nevertheless, we have taken another step forward and we need to continue with that.”
