High flying birds. So now we can say about the first-graders of the Arctic Lyceum, and not be deceitful. The guys – and there are 180 of them – joined the ranks of the children’s organization “Eaglets of Russia”.
Assembly hall of the Arctic Lyceum. On this day, all the places here are occupied by younger students. First-graders from the lyceum in full regalia. After all, they are the main heroes of the occasion. The significance of the event is also indicated by the fact that the head of the city came to congratulate the children.
Anton Kolodin, head of the city of Novy Urengoy:
— You, like all boys and girls, are joining the ranks of the “Eaglets” throughout Russia. “Eaglets” sounds proud. “Eaglets of Russia” is a strong community, like our country and like our people. You grow, study, dream under the flag of our Motherland. I wish you all success. I am sure you will proudly wear the title “Eaglets”. And each of you in the future will become the pride of New Urengoy and our great country – Russia.
“Eaglets of Russia” is a project that started in 2021. It was created specifically for junior high school students. Several areas operate autonomously, but at the same time complement each other – programs for educating young patriots, volunteers, ecologists, researchers, athletes, and creative children. If you suddenly think: “All this already exists,” don’t rush to conclusions.
Mikhail Tereshchenko, Deputy Head of Administration of the city of Novy Urengoy:
“This organization will give you the opportunity to unite. Rally around good deeds. And these good deeds are in different directions: patriotic – loving your homeland, environmental – preserving nature and the environment. Be friendly, cheerful, go hiking together. And be an example for all your peers.
Participants in the “Eaglets of Russia” program include not only children, but also teachers, parents, and student mentors from high schools. Educational tracks, rallies, and festivals are held for the “eaglets.”
– I am an eaglet. We are eaglets.
“Eaglets” is a team that can handle any task. Friendly. Cheerful. They learn to be “one for all and all for one.” And they make the world around them better. Now there are 180 more “eaglets” – Novy Urengoy lyceum students have also joined their ranks.
