A rare and antique porcelain figurine pair representing a piper and a young woman, created by the famous Chelsea porcelain factory. The centers are decorated in Rococo style with touches of gold and blue, a characteristic feature of Chelsea pieces. Each figure has an original Chelsea gold anchor mark on the back.

The Chelsea Porcelain Factory was founded in London, England, in 1743. It was one of the first porcelain factories in England and quickly gained a reputation for producing high quality and detailed porcelain. Chelsea porcelain was loved by the wealthy and was often given as gifts to members of the royal family. In 1784, the factory closed its doors due to financial problems and competition from other porcelain manufacturers.

  • Piper: height 22.5 cm, width 9.5 cm, depth 10 cm, weight 534 grams.State: The fingers appear to have been regenerated, but we cannot confirm this. The gold anchor marker is almost worn. There is a small burnt area on the bottom, possibly a cooking fault. Otherwise, the item is in very good condition.
  • Girl: height 21 cm, width 10 cm, depth 8 cm, weight 534 grams.State: Restoration of the right hand, otherwise in an excellent state of preservation.
