This afternoon Feyenoord played the lunch match in the Premier League with Zépiqueno Redmond in the striker. The Rotterdam team took on low-flying Almere City in the Yanmar Stadium.
After Brian Priske seemed to have it on this stage, Feyenoord suffered a small setback. Last week they lost 2-0 to Ajax in their own Kuip, after which Feyenoord managed to narrowly beat AZ at the weekend and lost to RB Salzburg (1-3) in the Champions League. Now the Rotterdammers hoped to achieve another victory.

At ESPN, Brian Priske said about youth striker Zepiqueno Redmond: ‘He is a young boy with big dreams, a good boy and he works hard. He can score goals, he also does that at Jong Feyenoord. He has been training with us for a few weeks and the boys have a good relationship with him.’
