The four chefs of ‘Black and White Chef’, Fabry, Jeong Ji-seon, Lim Tae-hoon, and Yoon Nam-no, appeared on JTBC’s ‘Knowing Brothers’, which aired on the 9th.
The four people are leading a busy daily life thanks to the huge hit of ‘Black and White Chef’ in which they appeared. Jeong Ji-seon, who runs a Chinese restaurant, said, “This year’s reservations are closed, and same-day customers are accepted separately. The line stretches halfway around the building.”
Lim Tae-hoon and Yoon Nam-no also revealed that their one-month reservations were completed in 1 minute and 50 seconds, respectively. Fabry boasted, “Walk-in customers mainly come here, and people line up three hours before opening. There are many people waiting at nearby cafes, so it has become a hot neighborhood. Everyone has become rich.”

There was something I was doing and the employees (at my restaurant) were paying attention. However, the restaurant industry is stagnant, “I appeared on the show because it didn’t seem like there were any chefs on the show,” he said.
Jeong Ji-seon selected Yeo Gyeong-rae and Choi Hyun-seok as surprising performers. He also said, “I was surprised to see him,” and pointed to his younger brother, Lim Tae-hoon, whom he knew well.
The judges of ‘Black and White Chef’ were restaurant businessman Baek Jong-won and chef Ahn Seong-jae. Seongjae Ahn is the head chef and owner of Mosu Seoul, the only Michelin 3-star restaurant in Korea.
The cast of ‘Knowing Brothers’ responded that they did not know Chef Ahn Seong-jae before ‘Black and White Chef’. Jeong Ji-seon also confessed, “I didn’t even know about Chef Ahn Seong-jae.” Fabry explained, “It’s famous all over the world. I used to be a fine dining chef, so I know it well. Korean Mosu and Mingles are famous in the fine dining community.”
Jeong Ji-seon said, “I thought Chinese food was far from Michelin,” and “I didn’t even know that there was a 3-star Michelin chef in Korea.” Namno Yoon said about the status of a ‘Michelin 3-star chef’, “It is the maximum. A king who can stop cooking.”
