President and Production Director of Vegalta Sendai Co., Ltd. Hideki Itabashi Greetings (part of a section)

Dear visitors, this is Itabashi from Vegalta Sendai. On behalf of the club, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported us through this long battle over 38 rounds of the 2024 season with great hope and great support.

In this 2024 season, Vegalta Sendai has made a new beginning as the “Reborn Vegalta Sendai” for the next 30 years. We started with the difficult task of building a strong foundation for the future, developing human resources, and at the same time aiming for impact. With the cooperation of many people, all the knowledge and experience that Coach Moriyama has built up over the years has been reflected in our team, leading to the amazing result of today’s final game.

Advancement to the playoffs will open the door for Vegalta Sendai’s return to J1 and the final battle everyone is looking forward to. This hard battle continues.
However, we are sure that the amazing golden warriors of Vegalta Sendai will fight with you all to the end in this tough battle.

It is an undeniable fact that your warm support has given strength to the team. We look forward to working with all of you to help Vegalta reach greater heights. Thank you so much for today.

Thanks to director Yoshiro Moriyama (part part)

Thank you everyone for waiting for us to advance to the playoffs.
We came back from a loss last week because the players really wanted to win at a packed Yurtech Sendai Stadium. Thanks to this, I lost about 300 hairs and shortened my life by a few days.

Of course, today was also the retirement ceremony for Yasu (Yasu Endo), so we shared with all the players that we must never let the ceremony take place in a gloomy state. Today too, I said to the players with all my heart, “Run until you drop,” and all I could do was raise my voice beside them, but I’m glad that they worked very hard and managed to overcome it. for the playoffs I think.

This season, we started from 16th place last year, and the players have been working hard since the camp. Even though I lost today, I certainly didn’t want to say “I’m sorry.” The same goes for the players, but the staff have been working hard over of the past year, without wasting time to sleep and with all the staff participating in the video editing work even on their days off. I believe that the hard work and commitment of the players, as well as the support of the players and the people who were not on the pitch today, helped us become a team with great unity. So I’m very glad I didn’t have to say “I’m sorry”.

Also, there’s something I really want to say: I think the supporters of Vegalta Sendai are the best in Japan. I always get a little teary when I see players greeting their supporters in close-ups. The support is amazing and heartfelt, and I think it is unique and the best in Japan. The players are still in their teens and will do their best to grab the supporter’s No. 1 ranking in J1.
Also, by winning today, the probability of moving up to J1 has increased to 25%, or 1/4. Although we are at the bottom, in 6th place, we hope to improve from here, bite the top teams, drag them down, and move up to J1. To that end, we ask for the support of Japan’s top sponsors. I think there aren’t many Vegalta Sendai fans/supporters in Nagasaki, but I think everyone can raise their voices as loud as 30 people during Ikki Tousen, so with the supporters cheering in the background, I’m sure there are just a few happy seats for Vegalta Sendai. We look forward to your continued support.

Greetings from MF 11 player representative Yuta Goke (excerpt)

Although we have decided to advance to the playoffs and there is still a lot of competition left, today is the last game we can play at Yuasuta. Many thanks to everyone who came to the stadium and supported us throughout the year.

Although we could not achieve the best automatic promotion, we still have a chance. We were able to move up from last year’s 16th place finish to this position, making it to the playoffs. I believe this is thanks to everyone here, and all your support.

I will work hard with the staff, teammates, fans and supporters, and Yasu-san to make it through the playoffs so I can stand here and give a good report.

It may seem selfish, but please give me your strength again in the last two games. Many thanks.

After the ceremony, we walked around the pitch to greet and thank all the fans and supporters.

Thank you to everyone for your warm support at home games in the 2024 season. Vegalta Sendai has decided to participate in the 2024 J1 promotion playoffs, and the battle continues. We appreciate your continued support and encouragement of Vegalta Sendai as we have two more races left to advance to J1.
