Hunters found the body of the missing Angel on the outskirts of Novi Pazar

The body of the wanted Angel Angelov from the village of Pamukchii has been found, said the Regional Directorate (OD) of the Ministry of Interior – Shumen. About 10:00 am today by phone. 112 in the operational duty part of the Regional Office – Novi Pazar, a signal was received from hunters. It was reported that they found the body of a man on the outskirts of Novi Pazar, near the Stanata area, during a hunting trip.

A team was formed, the accident site was investigated. It was established by the police officers that the body is the body of Angel Angelov, who disappeared without a trace on November 5 from a hospital in Novi Pazar. Crime data has not been established, adds the OD of the Ministry of the Interior.

The authorities of the Ministry of the Interior thank the employees of the State Forestry – Novi Pazar, Zonal Department of Gendarmerie – Varna, hunters and citizens who supported the activities of police officers during the five days of investigative activities in the field.

In addition to more than 30 police officers from the regional administration and the regional directorate, field gendarmerie officers, forest officers, residents of Novi Pazar and Pamukchii town, and motorcyclists who searched heavily wooded areas were involved in the research. Investigations were carried out with a drone, which did not yield results, the police said.

81-year-old Angel Angelov from the village of Pamukchii was summoned at the request of his relatives. The man had been missing since the evening of November 5, when medical staff at a hospital in Novi Pazar found him missing. The man was admitted for treatment the same day.
