On November 9, the Canarian Mountain Federation, together with the San Francisco I and II Psychosocial Rehabilitation Day Center, carried out the second hiking outing of the “Trails of Life” program. This program activity, designed by the social projection area of Fecamon to promote the integration and physical and emotional well-being of the participants, was attended by 22 users, 4 monitors and a specialized guide.
The main purpose of this project is to improve the quality of life of people with mental health disorders, promoting their connection with nature through outdoor exercise in an appropriate and safe environment. During the route, participants were able to enjoy the natural spaces of Osorio.
With this activity, Fecamon reinforces its commitment to promoting social inclusion through sports in nature, providing spaces that allow you to enjoy its physical and emotional benefits.
The San Francisco I and II Day Center team highlighted the positive impact of these activities on the rehabilitation and personal development of its users, underlining the importance of continuing these collaborations.
This event is part of a set of actions promoted by Fecamon, which will continue organizing similar activities to benefit more people and contribute to social development in the Canary Islands.
