Experience major choral works with well-known concert choirs in the concert halls of Lucerne, Bern, Basel and Zurich
Choral music has always had a high priority at Obrasso Concerts. The great choral works such as Messa da Requiem by Giuseppe Verdi, the Coronation Mass by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart or the Cecilia Mass by Charles Gounod are performed regularly. Since then, Obrasso Concerts has organized several hundred classical concerts throughout Switzerland.
The choral concerts as part of the Obrasso Concerts are very popular with choirs and the audience. In the past we were able to organize concerts with renowned Swiss choirs such as the Coro la Compagnia Rossini, the Zurich Concert Choir or the Choir of the Theater Biel Solothurn. The largest choir concert took place in 2008 with the Classic Festival Choir. The choir consisted of no fewer than 241 voices!
Internationally renowned concert choirs such as the Moscow Cathedral Choir, the Arcis Vocalisten Munich and the Coro dell’Opera di Parma also accepted Obrasso Concerts’ invitation.
