His competitor Nissim Mizrahi understood it very quickly. The 61-year-old made it in the big DSDS finale (Stream the entire 21st season on RTL+ here!) made it to third place. So his dream of the title has shattered. In the livestream, however, he appears anything but dejected. “I am overjoyed and inspired!”he explains. He got to know Christian as a “really great person,” “with a gift from God, with an angel’s voice,” he emphasizes. He was “absolutely happy” for him and was pleased with the outcome of the evening. “I’m happy for myself too,” he continues. “I’ve made it this far. I gave it my all. Of course, the callers ultimately decided, and he may have had a few more,” he says, pretending to be a good loser. But can you even talk about losing in third place?

In a direct comparison, Philip Matas has to admit defeat
In the big heart-stopping finale, Christian Jährig and Philip Matas (25) stood next to each other and were nervous about the final announcement. Ultimately, it is Christian’s name that presenter Laura Wontorra (35) uses to reveal the winner. The 25-year-old becomes DSDS runner-up. This doesn’t leave him bitter. “We said from the start: The four of us, we’ll treat ourselves to the world!”he emphasizes in the RTL livestream interview after the broadcast. “It became Christian. May it be granted to him! Hopefully he goes to Las Vegas,” he congratulates the new superstar: “He’s a really great person, a super special guy!”
