Smartphone manufacturers regularly release updates for their devices. It’s not always about new functions or a revised user interface design. Some updates are intended solely to close security gaps and protect your data from errors or attacks.
Samsung company recently started distributing a new security update – November 2024 Security Update.
These devices are now receiving the November 2024 security update
The list of devices receiving the security update is constantly growing – and currently these are the models that have already received the update.
According to fan blogs Sammyfans and SamMobile, the November 2024 security update can be identified by the build numbers “T735NKOS7DXJ1”, “S921USQS4AXJA”, “S926USQS4AXJA”, “X828USQS2AXJ7”, “S911xSQS5CXI8” and “S928USQS4AXJA” – each depending on which device you want to update. The fan blog reports that some of these updates have so far only appeared in Korea or the USA, but will also be distributed worldwide in the next few days. You can check for the update under “Software Update” in Settings.
Samsung has now published detailed information on the number and scope of the security holes that the new update is intended to fix. A total of 51 vulnerabilities will be fixed, some of which are rated as “high” – including potential points of attack for hackers.

Samsung is currently rolling out the October security update to a number of devices. If you haven’t installed this yet, you should do so as it fixes numerous security vulnerabilities, some of them critical.
