The Peruvian Navy announced the process of Assimilation of Service Officers 2025an initiative that offers young professionals the opportunity to join its ranks. This selective process, which will end on November 15, is aimed at those seeking a career in the military field, giving them the possibility of serving the country from one of its most emblematic institutions.
What are the requirements to be in the Navy?
To be considered, applicants must pre-register through the Peruvian Naval Academy website, a fundamental step to participate in the process. This preliminary phase allows the Navy to evaluate the interest and profile of the candidates, ensuring that they meet the requirements and the commitment necessary for service. The requirements are the following:
- Be Peruvian by birth, but if you were born abroad, you will have to be registered in the corresponding consular registry, only until you were a minor.
- Be in full exercise of your Constitutional civil rights.
- Comply with a minimum height for men of 1.60 centimeters and for women 1.55 centimeters.
- Have a Professional Title issued by a university in the country recognized by the National Assembly of Rectors (ANR) or the National Superintendency of Education (SUNEDU). If you have studied abroad, you must have your document apostilled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Have registration in the corresponding Professional Association and be authorized.
- Do not register any type of disciplinary sanction that has culminated in separation from a military or police institution or training center. This also applies to professional insufficiency or unsuitability for military life.
- Not be disqualified from public service.
- Have one year of professional experience after obtaining your degree.
- Have Peruvian nationality at the time of applying.
- Submit the documentation of the admission file
- Have health and physical fitness compatible with the demands of the Naval Career, for which you will undergo a Psychosomatic Capacity exam.
- It is important not to have a history of dismissal from other public administration bodies.
- Proof of having complied with the SERUM, in the case of health professionals
