Patrik Laine was back on the ice today

Excellent news awaits Montreal Canadiens fans, as the striker Patrik Laine made his return to the ice, at the CN Sports Complex in Brossard.

Equipped for the occasion, Laine skated alone, taking a key step in his recovery process after injuring his left knee during a preseason game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

At 26 years old, Laine has already accumulated 388 points in 480 NHL games, and he has scored 204 goals.

Although he had a difficult season last year with the Columbus Blue Jackets (9 points in 18 games), his injury delayed his return. However, the prospect of a return to the lineup within 3 to 4 weeks is a source of great excitement for Canadian fans.

This news comes at a strategic time, as the Canadian struggles to regain his form.

After several defeats, Martin St-Louis’ team faces the Maple Leafs this evening in a crucial game for its playoff aspirations.

A victory would be essential to restart the Habs’ season before Laine’s return.

The game will be broadcast live on TVA this evening and we will be treated to a special pre-game, with upcoming inductions into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
