New York, November 8 (EFE).- The singer Sebastián Yatra starts on November 25 in the musical ‘Chicago‘, a challenge that he takes on with nerves and enthusiasm not only because the fame of the work – the longest run of New York – but also for being the first Colombian to play the character of Billy Flynn on Broadway.
“I’m very grateful as a Colombian and Latino to have an opportunity like this. It’s really crazy that among the 50 million people who are from Colombia have been lucky enough to be part of this story. It’s a responsibility big,” said the artist in an interview with EFE.
The singer received several Hispanic media at the Ambassador Theater, where he performed the song ‘All I Care About’, and although nerves and vocal fatigue played tricks on him, he recovered and finished the song successfully: “If they upload this I’ll kill them,” he joked with reporters at the end of his essay.

Beyond the music, the artist continues to work on his next album, which will be released next year and in which pop will be the main genre of music: “I would describe it as a heavenly experience,” he said.
