At the same time, they ask that the perpetrator receive an exemplary punishment, who seems to have beaten her with unprecedented ferocity and initially tried to deny any involvement.
The accused is scheduled to plead tomorrow, Thursday, November 7, while he is still in custody. The show “Live News” published new testimonies, which “burn” the 49-year-old, as it also presents the new evidence that the authorities are examining.
«We were seeing a normal couple. She may have been seen beaten once. These things happen to all of us. We cannot know“, says a friend of the woman.
What does the 49-year-old’s ex-partner say?
As the hours pass, the complaints against the 49-year-old grow.
His former partner tells MEGA: “I am shocked, I hope the girl is saved. I left this relationship because he had hit me. He had hit me several times but I escaped. I went so far as to report him to the Police for verbal abuse and to warn him to stop. Since he didn’t stop, I did everything to get out of this relationship. Unfortunately, I didn’t know the girl enough to warn her.
The perpetrator was showing another face. One was fine and well behaved but the episodes were recurring. Like he had two faces. I’ve had a really hard time. There was domestic violence and despite the efforts of relatives, he himself did not want to be helped. I urged him to go to a doctor but he didn’t want to».
It had worked in the past
The investigation showed that the 49-year-old was also employed in 2020, when there were complaints against him for fraud. Then, he had pretended to be a well-known doctor of Patras to earn money.
The anxiety for the life of the unfortunate woman who was beaten remains in the red, with the next hours characterized by the doctors as the most decisive in the battle she is fighting, with the hopes unfortunately not on her side.

A resident of the apartment building where the couple lived in Patras, reported that, “I have a week or two to see them. Maybe they stayed at a hotel, that’s what I believe has happened. I witnessed intense commotions. I heard, I did not see. The truth is that I was hearing noises, not knowing what might be happening each time. The girl felt fear, so I feel, she hid it too much».
«One night when loud noises were again heard, I saw her get out, stay in the car for a long time and after being called, she went up and the noises continued. Intensely though, inside the house but at some point they also went out on the balcony. (S.s. I heard) say ‘leave me because I will call for help’. But he never went out to do it. He never went out. Then, they looked loved, they looked loved. I informed the apartment owner. I believed that that night he could ask for help and he would get it. I am deeply sorry“, he added.

For her part, the owner of the couple’s house in Patras, presents her own version of the events. The woman says that “I was informed by the tenants that there are commotions, he hits her, and we made a recommendation to him, my husband, because he also witnessed him hitting her on the balcony. She told him that if it continues, we will go to the authorities. After that he got upset, said he will leave and we told him to leave».

«I used to see him, he was saying the right things, now I don’t know what happened. He behaved very properly in society. Now what happened and this event happened I do not know“, says his relative.
The unfortunate Garifallia made sure to talk little about her personal affairs. No one was in a position to know what was going on behind the closed doors of the house she shared with the 49-year-old.
Everyone is in shock from the moment they found out that Garifallia is having fun. The police are trying to find out if there were other previous attacks by the 49-year-old that Garifalia did not want to report.

Last Sunday night, after a fight, the unfortunate woman left the house she shared with the 49-year-old to stay in a hotel. He followed her and ambushed her.
The 49-year-old locks the woman in the hotel parking lot and attacks her with unprecedented ferocity. The 41-year-old collapses in front of him.
From that moment on, her life hangs in the balance.
“I admit that I hit Garifalia, but I had no intention of harming her. We had a fight over a trivial matter and he informed me that he is going to leave the house and go to that particular hotel. I went to find her without having in my mind that all this would happen. I didn’t punch and kick her, I don’t accept that, I just pushed her and she fell down,” the perpetrator told the authorities.
Hospital sources, however, clarify to LIVE NEWS that in those critical minutes the 49-year-old was telling the doctors that he found the girl beaten.
He never said he beat her himself.
“We encountered a woman severely beaten. Next to her was a man who she said was her partner. He informed us that he found the girl beaten and lying on the street. From the knocks we realized that something was wrong. It was impossible that these blows had been caused by a fall. We immediately informed the Police, who took the man in.”
The hotel’s security cameras had recorded his movements and according to the police, at some point he showed that he understood that there was no point in denying what he was doing.

It all started on Sunday night. The couple who lived together in an apartment in Patras had a fight and the woman left to spend the night in a hotel. The 49-year-old followed her and shortly after midnight attacked her with unprecedented ferocity. The woman, who received blows to the head and the rest of her body, collapsed in front of him.
According to the police investigation, the 49-year-old knew the hotel his partner had chosen and arrived first to ambush her.
First she went up to her room. After staying a few minutes, the perpetrator left the hotel and remained near it, on Iroon Polytechniou street, having visual contact with the entrance and supervising the area. When the victim was leaving the hotel in the parking lot, he found her, approached her and managed to hit her twice, a punch and a kick to the head, according to the police investigation.
The woman falls unconscious to the ground and there is a commotion at the scene. The rescuers who arrived in the area have already described the images they saw.
As a result of the attack, she lost consciousness and fell to the ground in a prone position, hitting her head hard on the pavement, causing her serious bodily injury, according to the police investigation.
The woman is initially transferred to a hospital in Patras and from there to the KAT. Her condition has been judged from the first moment as extremely serious, with doctors leaving no room for optimism.
A CT scan revealed she had a severe head injury and a fractured occipital bone with intracranial and intracerebral injuries, the police investigation said.
Her own people have, as they say, lost the ground under their feet, as soon as they were informed of what had happened.
“We have our pain, we have our misery, we are broken. The girl is not well, we are broken, we can’t even walk. Our girl is in a very bad condition and the doctors unfortunately do not give hope,” said a relative of the 41-year-old.
