The workshop starts with an explanation of the most important pottery do’s and don’ts and then it’s your turn. Using pencils and colored pencils, create a sketch of your personal ceramic jewelry set. The pottery team and a goldsmith are always at your side to give you the best possible support.
We will prepare inspiration for you in the studio, but you can get the most out of the course if you browse the World Wide Web a little beforehand. After you have put your ideas on paper, you can immediately start putting them into practice with the sound. Whether abstract circles for necklaces, earrings in the shape of chili peppers or a plate with your zodiac sign on it, the possibilities are almost limitless.
At the end of the ceramic jewelry workshop, you will be able to choose from various glazes (colors) with which your jewelry pieces will then be glazed by the pottery team. Glazing is only possible after the first firing process, which in turn can only be carried out days after the pottery has been made (as soon as the pieces have completely dried). If you would like to paint your pieces yourself, this is possible as part of “work on your own” for an hourly price of € 18.00.
If your works of art are glazed/painted, they must be fired a second time. Goldschmiedin then turns her attention to this Maria Röcklinger that your personal jewelry is created from the ceramic pieces. When everything is put together, we will inform you via text message and you will pick up your pieces from the pottery.
