The forward of América de México, Rodrigo Aguirre, is one of the surprises on Marcelo Bielsa‘s squad list for the double date of the November Qualifiers where Uruguay will clash with Colombia and Brazil respectively.
Aguirre, 30 years old, has a good presence in the Aztec club where he has scored six goals and one assist, three of them in his last four games played.
The attacker trained in Liverpool spent his career in teams such as Empoli, Udinese and Perugia (Italy), Lugano (Switzerland), Nacional, Botafogo (Brazil), Liga de Quito (Ecuador), Necaxa, Monterrey and currently América.
The footballer had already been booked by the Argentine on other occasions, but he had never been named on the final roster as is the case on this occasion.
He will arrive next Monday in our country to join the work, after this Saturday he faces Toluca in the Aztec league.
It should be noted that Uruguay has gone four games in a row without scoring goals in the Qualifiers: 0-0 with Paraguay and Venezuela, 0-1 with Peru and 0-0 with Ecuador.
The light blues will clash on November 15 against Colombia in the Centennial on the 11th and on the 19th they will be visitors against Brazil on the 12th.
