The workers registered with the DHI USB responsible for waste collection in the area of Santa Maria Capua Vetere entered into a state of agitation today and are currently on guard in the space in front of the Town Hall. The reason for this sudden protest is the precautionary suspension suffered by one of the union members, deemed unacceptable as it affected a worker in the exercise of his free critical faculties.
Specifically, according to the same text of the complaint, the worker in question expressed doubts and critical issues regarding the safety of work vehicles, lack of regularity in wages and the payment of installments and debts assumed by employees towards creditors from the company side, also wanting to remember how this group of workers has been fighting on these same issues for some time.
In particular, USB workers denounce the condition of real suffering they suffer in relation, among other reasons, to the safety conditions of the construction site and of the work equipment, in addition to those of debt; in fact, even if the same employees regularly see monthly deductions from their pay slips month after month, suffering serious repercussions and recalls on the amounts owed by the credit institutions, unfortunately it happens that they are reached by injunction documents, which ask for the payment of installments already paid, even considering how the operators themselves are in fact denied any access to new credits for reasons or causes pertaining to the company. For all this, once again the employees registered with the USB of the Santa Maria Capua Vetere construction site, asking for the immediate revocation of any pending dispute, as well as demanding a timely review of the safety conditions of the vehicles and of the operational site in general, and again hoping for the advent of corporate solutions for the definition of problems linked to debt situations, as well as and above all compliance with the safety regulations on the San Marino construction site by the Company, they also loudly ask for the intervention of the Municipal Administration, as the commissioning body service, while also announcing new mobilization initiatives for next week.
