This was commented by the chairman of the Ethics Commission of the Supreme Judicial Council, Yasen Todorov, in the program “This Morning” on bTV on the occasion of the failed election of the chairman of the Sofia Court of Appeal (SAC) for the third time.
He defined his words as one of the reasons for not supporting the candidacy of judge Neli Kutzkova for the chairmanship of the SAS. According to him, representatives of the mentioned media and organizations were in the USA at the invitation of this organization for two weeks, and there was nothing wrong with that.
Yasen Todorov added that the judicial system has not been working in the best way in the last 25 years, in which Kutzkova also took part: “Look at the biography of judge Neli Kutzkova – she is part of this status quo in the judicial system, which has built this image “.
Neli Kutzkova herself stated in the program “This Sunday” on bTV that what happened last Thursday was duplicitous and extremely discouraging.
