A traffic accident in Spata was reduced last Wednesday evening on the Peania – Loutsas Provincial Road. Tragic account of the collision of two cars, one dead and four injured, two of them seriously.
How the traffic accident happened in Spata
It was around 9:30 p.m. when a car, in which three people were on board and moving in the direction of Artemisa, attempted to cross the road in order to enter the vertical street of Presbyter Ioannis Markos, at the height of Spata.
However, in the opposite direction, in the direction of Spata, another vehicle was moving at that moment – in which two people were riding – as a result of which the two vehicles collided violently.
One of the passengers, 73 years old, was recovered dead from the wreckage of the car that attempted to change course.
Intervention of the Fire Department
In fact, it took the intervention of the Fire Department with 6 firefighters and 2 vehicles in order to extricate him.
