The magazine accompanying Repubblica becomes international

(ANSA) – TURIN, 08 NOV – The weekly magazine attached to la Repubblica, directed by Emanuele Farneti, is preparing to land on the international market with an English collector’s edition, due out on Tuesday 12 November. The new version of d, with a bi-annual frequency, will contain the best editorial content of the season: from photo shoots, signed by the most important names in international fashion, to interviews, reports and insights. An “haute couture” edition made with high quality paper and sophisticated printing techniques, enclosed in a rigid slipcase. “There are at least two reasons – says director Farneti – why d is presented today in this new version in English. The first is to satisfy the curiosity of those who have known us through social networks in the last two years but do not live in Italy and cannot read our language. The second has more to do with time: having a semi-annual magazine will allow us to collect the best stories, giving them a sort of second life, so that they can be appreciated everywhere in the world, in an exclusive format very high quality.” The first issue, distributed from Tuesday 12 November at a cover price of 35 euros, consists of 456 pages of which over 300 are dedicated to fashion. Subsequent publications are planned for March 2025 and October with a distribution channel made up of exceptional sales points such as museum bookstores, boutiques of the most prestigious brands and bookshops in the main Italian and European cities (Paris, London, Lisbon, Amsterdam, among many) and globally in the USA, Canada, Asia and other international locations specializing in high-level publications.
