The head of the security wing of the Russian opposition, the political representative of the Russian Freedom Legion, Ilya Ponomarev, is convinced that Trump will force Ukraine to cease fire. This expert said in an interview with Anastasia Fedor for YouTube– “News Factory” channel.

According to Ponomarev, Russia will definitely rearm, so the issue of security guarantees is very urgent for Ukraine. Kyiv will have to ask him to join NATO, but it is likely that the Americans will offer some kind of long-term aid program similar to the Israeli one. Putin, in turn, will provide guarantees from China, India and, possibly, Turkey.

“The question is what will happen in two or three years, when Russia rearms. Where will he go? He can return to Ukraine or go to Eastern Europe: Poland, Baltic countries.
