From the CP Miralvalle family we are pleased to inform you of the improvement in the health of our player Ángela Jiménez.
DEPT. COMMUNICATION CP MIRALVALLE
As most of you know, last Saturday, Angela suffered a head injury that caused a subdural hematoma. Therefore, she underwent emergency surgery, which, fortunately, went well.
From that very moment, despite still being in a serious state, our player’s recovery began. Although the process is slow and we must be cautious, Ángela is evolving very favorably.
Yesterday, doctors performed a series of neurological exams to see how Ángela responded to different stimuli and all of them were positive. He has been able to react to the voice and orders of the doctors.
Likewise, she is now able to breathe on her own and, for this reason, it has been possible to extubate her and completely remove sedation.
Both the club board, the rest of the players and the coaching staff are very happy with Angela’s positive and rapid evolution in all aspects. Thanks to this good news, our first team has decided to resume training; Although not completely normal, we are trying to return to our usual routine. These moments, in which we have returned to the track, have been considerably complicated for the entire squad.
Our coach Daniel Carreras wants to thank and praise the positive attitude of all the players, as they have been essential for the good development of the first training sessions after the incident. “They have made everything much easier. When we lacked breath and even words, they have helped us and greatly facilitated our return to work,” says Daniel.
Finally, we want to once again thank the work of all the health personnel who are treating, working and helping Angela in the recovery process. From doctors and nurses, to anesthetists, intensivists, assistants, orderlies and any healthcare worker. The work they are doing is inexplicable and has incalculable value for us, Angela’s family and all the fans.
We continue together, as a family, supporting and encouraging our dear Angela in her recovery. One more day is one less day.
Thank you all once again.
