The Czech Nightingale will induct Marta Kubišová into the Hall of Fame – Novinky

In 2017, Marta Kubišová received a nightingale for personality in honor of the end of her career. She did this officially on November 1 of the same year with a concert in her own České Budějovice on her seventy-fifth birthday.

TV Nova will broadcast the awards ceremony live this year. The night will be played by Ondřej Sokol and Aleš Háma.

The organizers also announced the names of some of the musicians. After more than ten years, Tomáš Klus appears on stage, singing the song Dokola. In 2013, he announced that he was withdrawing from the voting, because the rapper Řezník was expelled from the competition, and because he believed that the behavior of the immoral organizers. He asked fans to send texts to charity instead.

“The nightingales are now free and I decided to return to them. I’m looking forward to meeting people from music,” explained Klus to Novinkám.

The band Mirai will sing the song Summer Love on Christmas evening, Marie Rottrová, Marek Ztracený or Michal David will also sing. The nominees in the Discovery of the Year category, ie Pam Rabbit, Sofjan Medjmedj and the band Brixtn, will also sing their songs.

“I will sing a new song from my new album, which I am recording in London with the band Robbie Williams,” said Michal David.

The evening will also celebrate thirty years since the first performance of the Czech production of the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar. His main characters Kamil Střihavka, Bára Basiková and Dan Bárta appear on stage.
