Notice on soliciting the image logo (LOGO) of Xuancheng News Media Center

Xuancheng News Media Center, as a national municipal media integrated development pilot, is a public institution established to undertake news dissemination and other functions on the basis of integrating the media resources of Xuancheng Radio and Television Station and Xuancheng Daily. In order to enhance the brand influence and the cultural soft power of the unit, a unified image logo (LOGO) is specially solicited from the society. The specific matters are now announced as follows:

1. Collection time

From November 8, 2024 to November 30, 2024, submissions will no longer be accepted after the deadline.

2. Collection objects

The solicitation is open to the whole society, and both individuals and organizations can participate (except for the staff of this solicitation and the experts responsible for review).

3. Design requirements

1. The theme is outstanding, the creativity is novel, and the meaning is profound. It highlights the nature of the news media center unit and the characteristics of “Xuancheng – a landscape painting on rice paper”, and reflects Xuancheng’s unique regional characteristics, historical and cultural connotations, ecological civilization and humanistic spirit. In line with the characteristics of the times.

2. The composition is simple, the personality is distinctive, the colors are bright, fashionable and beautiful, the concept is clever, the meaning is profound, it is beautiful, dynamic and contemporary, has strong modern design concepts and visual impact, and is easy to identify, disseminate and promote.

3. Can be applied to various occasions and carriers such as interview equipment, printed matter, souvenirs, print media, online media, self-media and other converged media derivatives.

4. Submission method

1. Submission content includes: Letter of commitment to the originality of the work (self-drafted, signed and scanned) and electronic version of the work. The electronic version of the work must be submitted in its entirety, including high-precision, modifiable original design drawings for the organizer to edit and modify.

2. Please attach a design concept and creative description of about 300 words to the submitted work, indicating the author’s name, contact number, detailed mailing address and postal code.

5. Selection and reward methods

1. After the logo collection time ends, the organizer will organize review experts to evaluate the collected works, select 5 shortlisted works (if the submitted works are less than or equal to 5, they will all be considered shortlisted), and publicize them in the media for a period of time , accept audience comments. On this basis, the Central Party Committee collectively studied and reported to the Propaganda Department of Xuancheng City Committee of the Communist Party of China for approval, and determined the final adopted works among the shortlisted works.

2. A reward of 1,000 yuan will be given to each shortlisted work (if there are less than or equal to 5 submitted works, a reward of 600 yuan will be given to each piece), and a reward of 5,000 yuan will be given to the adopted works (no duplicate rewards). The selection results will be announced on the relevant media platforms affiliated to the Xuancheng News Media Center.

6. Relevant matters

1. There is no fee for this solicitation, and all submissions will not be returned. If the application proposals are the same, the one with the earliest submission time shall prevail. Creators please keep their own manuscripts for verification. The authors of unselected works can handle it themselves.

2. The submitted works must be original, not registered, and have not been published in any form before. The contributors are solely responsible for the humanities. The work must comply with national laws, regulations and social order and good customs, and must have no negative implications or parts that may easily cause ambiguity.

3. The author of the final adopted work must sign a relevant agreement with our center, and the reward will be paid after the agreement is signed (the specific time and method will be notified)

4. Anyone who submits an article to the organizer is deemed to have acknowledged all the terms of this announcement. The organizer has the final right to make the final decision on the image logo design and its works, and has the final right to interpret this solicitation.
