Forest: the S1 train free for Stib users due to work on the Neerstalle roadway

The work in the municipality of Forest will cause several mobility problems.

Forest residents have been warned: the work on the Neerstalle road and the Brussels road will last until 2026. With the construction site, a large part of the Stib network will undergo changes in the municipality. There are many lines affected: 82, 97, 50, 54, 74 and N2 are disrupted.

To overcome the problems that the work will cause, the Stib has concluded an agreement with the SNCB for free use on the S1 train between the stations of the municipality. You only need to have a valid ticket for the Stib to use the train. This deal will apply until the end of the work between the Brussels-Midi, Forest-Est and Uccle-Stalle stations.
