(Seoul = News 1) Reporter Kim Min-ji and Kim Min-soo = Singer Jessie (35, Korean name Ho Hyeon-joo), who was embroiled in suspicions of abusing a fan, was acquitted.
According to the police on the 7th, Gangnam Police Station in Seoul decided not to forward Jesse, who was suspected of making threats and hiding and escaping criminals, saying it was difficult to admit the charges.

An arrest warrant was issued for Mr. A, a foreigner who directly assaulted the victim and left the country, and a request was made to Interpol. Producer B, who was suspected of participating in the assault, was sent to the prosecution.

In the early morning of September 29, an incident occurred in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where a minor fan met Jessie and her group and asked for a photo, but was assaulted by a man named A who was around Jessie. In closed-circuit (CC) TV footage, Jessie’s group was captured stopping the perpetrator, Mr. A, but Jessie soon left the scene. As a result, suspicions arose that Jessie ignored the group’s assault on the fan.

After reporting to the police, Jesse was found at a nearby bar, but Mr. A was reportedly not with him. The police reportedly asked Jesse and his party at the bar about Mr. A’s whereabouts, but they reportedly responded that they did not know. As the incident became public, a total of four people, including Jesse and his companions, were sued by the victim on charges of assault.

In relation to this, Jessie posted on her social networking service (SNS) account on October 12, “First of all, I sincerely apologize for causing concern to many people with the recent report on an assault case related to me,” and apologized to the person she first saw that day. He explained that there was an incident where his fan was assaulted. Afterwards, Jessie appeared at the Gangnam Police Station on October 16 to be investigated as a defendant, and on the 18th, her exclusive contract with her agency, DOD Entertainment, was terminated.

However, the controversy did not subside, and on October 23, Jesse posted another post on Instagram and apologized. Jessie said, “I would like to express my apology to the victims and their families who have suffered damage due to this incident. Although the incident was caused by me, my wrong actions, attitude, and inaction from the time the incident occurred to this moment have hurt many people, including the victims. “It made me feel betrayed and angry,” he said.

He continued, “I regretted it thousands and tens of thousands of times. I wish I could go back to that time. If only I had taken a picture with the victim, if I had protected the victim more actively, if I had gone to the police station right then and there, if I had made a proper apology to the victim.” “He wouldn’t have suffered this much, it’s all my responsibility,” he added.

He apologized again, saying, “I know that I cannot be forgiven with just one word. However, I will now try to correct my mistakes and help the victim recover. It is too late, but I ask for forgiveness once again. I was wrong.”
