OPPO has chosen Paris Photo 2024 as a global partner to celebrate its innovative vision in imaging and, at the same time, showcase “exceptional talent in mobile photography”. Presenting the brand’s imaging proposition with the motto “Capture the Beauty of Life with Ease”, OPPO organized an exclusive roundtable to preview the latest imaging advancements of the upcoming Find X8 series, making photography master- level accessible to all. The brand also celebrated global creativity with the imagine IF Photography Awards 2024, presenting a humanistic vision through the “Dear Life” exhibition.
Leading the round table was Joy Cheng, Director of Imaging Products at OPPO, who underlined the brand’s goal in democratizing photography: “Our proposition linked to imaging, ‘Capture the Beauty of Life with Ease’, guides the Our commitment to continuous innovation in mobile photography, allowing users to capture life’s extraordinary moments without technical complexity.”
The company explains: “OPPO’s relentless pursuit of imaging excellence comes to fruition in the Find X8 series, which globally launches a powerful suite of features to elevate mobile photography. One of the main features is the portrait, as OPPO always places people at the center of every image and continues to improve the rendering of natural portraits. Thanks to extensive research into user aesthetics and photography habits, OPPO introduces the concept of ‘Atmospheric Environmental Portrait’ in the Find X8 series, allowing people to capture atmospheric scenes and emotions simply by raising the camera and pressing the button suddenly.”
“The Find – “We ensure superior tonal quality, smoother color transitions and improved representation of skin tones for a professional portrait in every shot.”
To enable users to capture dynamic portraits instantly, the OPPO Find X8 series integrates an advanced shooting function as the core element of each module. Unlike traditional “Action Modes,” which often compromise image quality and risk missing crucial moments due to mode changes and light limitations, OPPO’s updated Snap Mode accurately recognizes moving subjects, balancing speed and quality to get “perfect” shots without the need to change modes. The advanced processing architecture of the Find X8 series thus allows you to obtain sharp, blur-free images with just one click.
Cheng also showcased OPPO’s Livephoto feature, recently introduced with the Reno12 series, which transforms raw data into vivid, lifelike moments. In the upcoming Find X8 series, this function will be further enhanced. “We are confident that OPPO Livephoto offers diverse styles with unique expressive power” – said Cheng – “In addition to capturing moments in time, the OPPO Find to the neighbor” for portrait photography. It will also be the first flagship imaging model to combine high telephoto performance with a slim, no-compromise design.
“The value that OPPO imaging offers is simple: when you experience the atmosphere of a moment, you don’t have to worry about selecting modes, activating functions or adjusting settings” – said Cheng – “We take care of everything. Press the shutter button and the moment is yours.”
