G-Star 2024, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, is just one week away. Major game companies such as Nexon, Netmarble, Krafton, and Hive IM are expected to participate and unveil a large number of new games, providing a wealth of entertainment for domestic gamers.

According to the gaming industry on the 7th, G-Star 2024, which will be held at BEXCO in Busan from the 14th to the 17th, is scheduled to be the largest ever with 3281 booths confirmed. There are 2,364 BTC (Business-to-Consumer Transaction) halls and 917 BTB (Business-to-Business Transactions) halls, which is more than double that of last year. Interest in BTC Exhibition Hall 1 was so high that applications for the large booth area were sold out within 20 minutes of early application opening. In addition, ‘G-CON’ and ‘G-Star Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy’ will be operated.

Nexon, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, will serve as the main sponsor. The BTC hall will have 300 booths, and the BTB hall will have 30 booths. In particular, a total of 5 types of works will be submitted, including 4 demonstration works and 1 video work. The demonstration works are △MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) battle royale ‘Super Vibe’ △3D action role-playing game (RPG) ‘Project Overkill’ △hardcore action RPG ‘First Berserker: Kazan’ △casual RPG ‘Hwansechuihojeon Online ‘ etc. Approximately 500 demonstration devices will be installed at the G-STAR site to provide many visitors with the opportunity to experience the demonstration products. As a video entry, a new trailer for the PvPvE survival shooter ‘Ark Raiders’ will be shown and screened during the exhibition period.

Netmarble will prepare a total of 100 booths and 170 demonstration stands. A separate central stage will be set up between the demonstration stands for entries such as ‘Game of Thrones: King’s Road’ and ‘Mongil: Star Dive’ to showcase experiential stage events. The stage event ‘Cosplay Show’ also stands out. Netmarble will hold a cosplay stage event using popular characters from the new ‘King of Fighters AFK’ along with entries such as ‘Game of Thrones: King’s Road’ and ‘Mongil: Star Dive’.


Krafton will preview its new works ‘Dincom Together’ and ‘Project Ark’ for the first time at this year’s G-Star. In addition to an experience space where visitors can play, there will also be on-site events with popular influencers. ‘Hi-Fi RUSH’ from Tango Gameworks, a Japanese game company acquired last August, will also be demonstrated at the booth.

G-STAR’s key side event ‘G-CON 2024’, which will be held from the 14th to the 15th, will be held in 3 tracks and 42 sessions. Kou Shibusawa, Tecmo’s head producer representing the ‘Romance of the Three Kingdoms’ series, Naoki Hamaguchi, development director of ‘Final Fantasy VII Rebirtg’, and Neople CEO Myungjin Yoon of ‘First Berserker: Kazan’ were named as keynote speakers.

In addition, ‘G-Star Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy Powered by Steam’ will be held. In this showcase, which will be held in conjunction with the gaming platform ‘Steam’, a variety of original and attractive indie games will be introduced. In particular, it provides indie developer game experience through ‘Steam Deck’.
