Donald Trump and Kamala Harris “agreed on the need to have unity in the country” during their phone conversation today, the Republican nominee’s spokesman said.
“President Trump thanked Vice President Harris for her determination, professionalism and perseverance throughout the campaign, and the two leaders agreed on the need for unity in the country,” said Stephen Seung.
Invitation from Biden
Outgoing US President Joe Biden called Donald Trump today to congratulate him on his victory in the presidential election and invited him to the White House to discuss the transition process.
Joe Biden also reached out to Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, congratulating her on her campaign.
As it became known from the White House, President Biden will “address the nation” tomorrow Thursday about the election results that marked Trump’s return to the White House.
