Roller hockey, in its different categories, is part of the great roller skating festival that will be experienced in Medellín during the Grand Prix Fedepatín 70 years – Pan American Open, a contest that will take place in the capital of Antioquia between November 19 and December 15, and will also have speed skating, figure skating and skateboarding competitions.
This roller hockey event will be divided into two phases, the first of which will take place between December 5 and 8 with the categories of mixed school, mixed mini, mixed pre-infant, under 19 men and under 20 women; The second phase will take place between December 11 and 15 with mixed, open women’s, open men’s and senior master’s cadets.
Alberto Herrera Ayala, president of the Colombian Skating Federation, provided details of the importance of roller hockey in the Grand Prix Fedepatín 70 years – Pan American Open, a discipline that in this event will allow clubs to add points for the 2024 season, and for its players, will be the first qualifying event with mandatory participation for the Colombian pre-selection processes for the 2025-2026 season.
“Fedepatín, together with the Antioquia Skating League, has proposed organizing this great event, and of course, having the roller hockey competitions, which is one of the roller skating disciplines that is very popular among the fans.
