In January 2025, the Krefeld Police Sports Club is offering a new judo course for children.
Judo in Krefeld promotes more than just fitness
Krefeld – Not only physical fitness benefits from judo, but important social skills such as personality development, social behavior and fairness are also specifically promoted through this sport. Interested children aged seven and over have the chance to join a new beginners group from January 9th. You have the opportunity to take part in training free of charge for four weeks and get a taste of the sport without obligation. Subsequent registration for this age group will not be possible until January 2026.
Training times and location
The Krefeld Judo Center, located at Gladbacher Straße 601 (on the site of the former TEW arena, opposite the steelworks), is the training location for the new group on Thursdays between 5 and 6:30 p.m. Another offer is available for the youngest children between four and six years of age. As part of this group, which trains on Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., the children experience judo in a playful way. Registration is possible for the little ones all year round.
