The special or green electricity tariffs for November were posted on their websites by PPC and private providers.
All household consumers, regardless of the supplier, will find that electricity tariffs will be lower this month compared to October.
Reductions in green electricity tariffs
According to the current institutional framework, all suppliers are required to have special or green electricity tariffs and at the beginning of the month to disclose their charges.
Since yesterday, November 1, one supplier after another has gradually announced the competitive charges for the current month, specifically for residential consumers.
Both PPC, which is the dominant player in the market, and the independent providers made reductions.
These vary in relation to October from about 6% to about 16%.
Their pricing policy was determined by the drop in the wholesale electricity price on the Energy Exchange. The average price in the day-ahead market for October closed at 90.36 euros per Megawatt hour from 112.35 euros per Megawatt hour.
So for suppliers, reductions in household electricity tariffs were a one-way street…
