Since 2010, network companies have been liable for Ifer (flat rate tax on network companies) to local authorities. Ifer includes ten components (wind turbines, electricity, photovoltaics, hydraulics, railway, etc.).
The declarations by the liable companies, under the Electrical Transformers component, today seem to be prone to errors, impacting revenues to the disadvantage of communities. The tax administration grants the possibility to firms specializing in tax optimization to approach communities to carry out audits over the last three years, indicates Gilles Ligot, president of the Community of Communes of Ernée.
During the community council meeting on October 22, the community councilors adopted the signing of an agreement with the CTR OFEE firm in Issy-les-Moulineaux. The terms of the agreement are as follows: remuneration of the service provider up to 40% of the regularizations made by the client; the remuneration cannot exceed €39,999 excluding tax. The agreement is established for a period of two years.
