Established as one of the couples most loved by viewers, Martinoli knew how to forge a powerful union with García, whom even gave him the nickname Doctorone that has also entered the popular imagination over the years.
How did the nickname Doctor come about?
It’s not that he is a doctor, because García does not boast of any professional titlesince he left his accounting studies in Mexico and public relations in Spain unfinished, but it had to do with a joke that with the passage of time became a truth for many of his followers.
It all goes back to “2008 or 2009”, as García himself revealed, in a match between the Jaguares de Chiapas and Atlante, when his teammate’s great experience in divorces came to mind, which made him a scholar of the subject.
“We arrived in Tuxtla one day, it was Saturday, it was clear that Friday among his friends had been very hot because he had had marital or relationship problems and He began to give us a lecture on civil divorce law and there was a moment when I told him ‘hey, you know more than a lawyer, you know the civil code by heart, you could have a doctorate in law,'” Christian explained three years ago.

“From then on, that lie became a reality, the kids who did not see Luis García play, think that he is a doctor,” added Martinoli, while the former soccer player has commented that on multiple occasions he has been scolded for assuming a status which does not correspond to him for his studies.
