Head of education department (90 – 100%) in Lindau

Lindau is an attractive residential and working community with around 5,900 residents, centrally located yet in the countryside between Winterthur and Zurich.

We are looking for someone to join our team in the Education Department on January 1, 2025 or by appointment

Your area of ​​responsibility:

• Technical, organizational and personnel management of the education department
• Advising and supporting the school authority and school management on legal and organizational issues
• Responsible for the development of local regulations in the school sector
• Member of the school management team
• Initialization, management and collaboration in projects
• Responsible for internal administrative cooperation

Your skills:

• Proven leadership skills
• Professional experience in the Zurich elementary school system
• Several years of experience in a school administration and qualified school administration manager / school administration manager SIB/VPZS or equivalent training and further education
• In-depth knowledge of cantonal Zurich administrative and school law and public personnel law
• Fundamental interest in school, social and societal issues
• Very good verbal and written German language skills
• Proven experience in successful project work
• Safe use of digital means of communication
• Positive and resilient personality with high communication, organizational and team skills as well as assertiveness
• Willingness to attend evening meetings
