News media in the 19th century. (Reims)

The CRIMEL (Interdisciplinary Research Center on Aesthetic and Literary Models) and the GRIPIC (Interdisciplinary Research Group on Information and Communication Processes) are organizing on Friday November 22, 2024, at the Carnegie library in Reims, a day of study entitled “News media in the 19th century”. This is the second act of a three-day study cycle devoted to the materiality of information, considered from both a transhistorical and transdisciplinary perspective.

The 1st meeting, devoted to the modern period (16th-18th centuries), was held on November 25, 2022. The 3rd will take place in 2026 and will focus on the 20th and 21st centuries. A volume drawn from these three days will be published in 2027.
