The MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg have taken a big step towards the intermediate round of the FIBA Europe Cup. The Bundesliga basketball team won against BC Trepca from Kosovo with 87:54 (40:24). After the surprising first defeat the previous week, Ludwigsburg is back on course for the top 16. With an away win in the last game of Group H next Wednesday in Dijon, the MHP giants can secure group victory. The best thrower was Justin Simon with 17 points.

The Ludwigsburg team played aggressively on defense as usual against committed, but not so strong guests. This caused the Kosovars to lose the ball numerous times. Nevertheless, Trepca kept up in the first quarter. But in the second round, the hosts clearly pulled ahead thanks to their better throwing rate.
