Adonis Georgiadis made an opening to PASOK during the discussion of the bill for the “reform of the institution of the personal physician” in the relevant Committee of the Parliament, calling on Harilaou Trikoupi to abandon the “sterile opposition” and “get serious” so that the government can once again emerge collaboration of 2012 – 2014.
“This sterile opposition has tired me” said the health minister addressing the PASOK MPs and accused them of turning Harilaou Trikoupis into “pure SYRIZA”.
“What do you in PASOK have in store? No reservation. If you don’t vote for that too, “green SYRIZA” is nothing. you are pure SYRIZA” he said characteristically, adding that it is not possible for PASOK to create a problem in the country “in order to be in opposition”.
“If you are holding back for reasons of opposition, you have missed the train” insisted Mr. Georgiadis and proceeded to make an informal opening to the third party: “I like you, we have governed together. But in order to co-govern again or to govern, you have to get serious, there is no other way to get work done…”.
