Pupils of the 8th and 9th grades of secondary school No. 14 in the city of Kirov visited the Mayak plant as part of the career guidance project “Ticket to the Future.”
Thus, during the excursion, plant employees introduced the children to the history of the enterprise, which occupies a significant place in the manufacturing sector of the Kirov region. Students were able to see prototypes of modern computers, as well as air defense systems, which aroused great interest and admiration.
Ninth and eighth graders shared that they especially remembered the story about how the plant collaborated with the outstanding scientist Sergei Korolev.
